Speak Out, make a difference

It has been said that all that is needed for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. Ultimately we will be judged not by our titles or bank accounts but by something far more sacred. Future generations hang in the balance. Whether we speak out or remain silent, act or step back will create the inheritance we bequeath.

Rev. Bill Shuler is pastor at Capitol Life Church in Arlington, Virginia.

When considering the writing by the Rev. Shuler, here is the term that should be applied and considered when contemplating it: Priestcraft, as an evangelical minister. Where does his authority come from to represent God? Especially before the masses? Can he claim some laying on of hands by those with the proper authority? Or is it a dream or sudden inspiration from on high? His thoughts are ok but in the veign that they are expressed I wonder whom they are expressed for? For the masses or for his personal gain and to "recruit" more members to his "business", i.e. church? We are to avoid priestcraft, which is that men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of all but they do it for their own personal gain.

Seems you want to bash something or someone. Do it elsewhere. The words I believe are his, I placed 'here' as I believe 'these words' are words worth reading. My site, my choice.
